2016 MGA Trials report

With maize establishment time fast approaching, we hope you will find it interesting to review the 2016 MGA small plot research and development programme in the hope that it, along with previous trial results and farmer experience, provides useful pointers to what should be done in or applied to maize fields this year.
Nine trials were undertaken during the year by third party contractors. In most cases treatments were replicated within the field to ensure an accurate picture as possible would be painted.
Trial reports setting out the site background, field history and treatment details are available for most of the trials. Copies can be made available to members only for the cost of printing and postage. Members are also directed to the 2017 MGA Conference papers where the small plot trial results were reviewed. The conference papers are available now on the MGA Web Site.
