Corn Cob Mix (CCM) where the complete cob including surrounding leaves is plucked from the stalk and then chopped via a forage harvester being harvested nr Slough on John Whitby's farm. While yields of CCM are lower than forage maize, quality is much improved being similar to barley. CCM is an excellent complement to other forage in dairy rations and a great base feed for a beef finishing ration.
